After each practice exam, sort wrong answers into three categories: conceptual errors (you did not understand the underlying concept), procedural errors (you knew the concept but made a calculation or process mistake), and careless errors (you understood everything but misread the question or made an arithmetic slip). Building a Mistake Log

Create a spreadsheet or notebook tracking each wrong answer: the topic, the type of error, what you got wrong, and the correct approach. Review this log weekly. You will discover patterns showing which topics and error types dominate. This targeted information is far more valuable than simply retaking practice exams. Focus your remaining study time on the areas where your mistake log shows the greatest weakness.
